I have given jee 2024 with gen category but want to change my category from gen to gen ews for next year...is it possible as i don't know the criteria of it and i was not aware that it is a category for weak financially families..

Yes you can change from general to ews category in fresh registration under EWS category for JEE you need to fulfill the general criteria only those who have an annual income level below Rs 8 lakes per annum are eligible for EWS certificate.

Obtain ews certificate from your nearest tehsildar during jee registration select EWS category and upload the required document to get the advantage of reservation.
