Yes, it is a quite good score to be in the merit for private medical colleges.

The NEET cutoff 2019candidates belonging to UR category have to score a minimum of 119/720 marks for qualification in NEET medical entrance exam. The OBC/SC/ST category candidates need a minimum of 96 marks to qualifyNEET 2019 exam. NEET 2019 will take place on May 5, 2019, in a single window offline mode.

Thus getting 400 will land you in a good college. If you can score 400+ then there will be high chances that you can also apply for deemed universities and colleges.

Colleges is totally depend on the marks you got and the rank. Different states have their own criteria for seats to allote. Under state quota the 85 percent reservation for state students and under all india quota the 15 seats for the other state students.
