I have passed eleventh standard but will not be able to take board exams this year due to medical issues. Can I take direct admission in class 12 next year (open schooling is also an option) or will I have to repeat class 11th?

Hello aspirant,

Yes, it is feasible to enrol in class 12 after finishing your 11th grade coursework and taking a year off. You can resort to government schools if CBSE schools won't let you enrol since they will undoubtedly do so.

Additionally, you can complete your 12th grade as a private candidate through the NIOS, or National Institute of Open School, if you do not want to apply as a Regular candidate.

They might inquire as to why you took the break, so you'll want to have a good answer re ady.

thank you

hope this information helps you
