Hello Aspirant,
First of all congratulations for getting 97 percentile in JEE Mains January exam.
The thing is that now we can give JEE Mains exam twice. The one is in January and the second one in April. But due to Covid-19, the second JEE Mains is in September . Now after some time results of JEE Mains September will be declared.
- The thing you must know is that the overall score of JEE Mains is taken out from the best score of JEE Mains January and JEE Mains September. In whichever exam you score more , that will be your final score.
- So if you got more than 97 percentile in September exam then , it will definitely increase your chance to get admission to more good NIT's , because overall score is now more than 97 percentile.
- But if your score is less than 97 percentile in September exam, then your overall score will be 97 percentile. And then on the basis of 97 percentile you got admission to some low NIT's.
- Moreover based on your percentile you can also predict your colleges. Visit our Careers360 college predictors tool.
