For being eligible for BA Hons Political Science, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in your 12th. Merit is determined on the basis of one language and 3 best elective subjects. Among your subjects English will be considered as a Language from List A. And Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies and Legal Studies all are in the B list of Elective Subjects. http://www.du.ac.in/du/uploads/COVID-19/20062020-UG_2020_June2020.pdf says there are any other subjects that you have studied apart from the ones mentioned in List A or B, then there will be a deduction of 2.5% per subject included in the aggregate of "Best Four" percentage. Going by this, there should not be any deduction. But there is another clause. Out of 3 elective subjects chosen, one must be the concerned subject in which admission is sought. Or else there will be a deduction of 2.5% on the aggregate Best four percentage.
