It depends on the institute you get enrolled in and the interviewers. Some companies do not allow DSE students to even go for the PI however most companies do not take it into consideration and only look at the skills the student has (like coding, app deelopment etc) like  L&T , Siemens & Cromptons. IBM, Infosys  etc.

As long as you have the best (or on eof the best) skill sets and a good CGP throughout you can easily manage to get a high package in agood company even if you are a dse student so I insist you to just work hard and smart and do not worry about anything else. All the best!
