i have uploaded class 12th Marksheet in place of 10th when they ask at last as i am a dropper and by mistake from digilocker i have uploaded 12th Marksheet although rest details are correct above.... plz reply can we change it or it doesn't matter ?
Hello,
If you uploaded your Class 12th marksheet instead of the Class 10th one by mistake, it’s usually not a big issue, but it depends on the stage of your application.
-
If the correction window is available, you should re-upload the correct Class 10th marksheet during that period.
-
If the correction window is closed, you can inform the authorities during document verification or counselling . They will check your original documents in person, so you can show both your Class 10th and 12th marksheets there.
Since your other details are correct, this small mistake won’t affect your candidature , as long as you have the original Class 10th certificate for verification later.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
If you accidentally uploaded your Class 12th marksheet instead of the 10th one, don’t panic, it’s a common mistake and not a big problem.
Since your name, date of birth, and other details are correct, your form will still be accepted. The main proof they check later is your 10th marksheet for date of birth.
What you should do:
-
If a correction window opens, simply re-upload the 10th marksheet.
-
If not, just carry your original 10th marksheet when you go for document verification, they’ll verify it there.
-
You can also email the helpdesk and inform them politely about the mistake.
It’s not serious, just keep your 10th marksheet ready for verification, and your application will stay valid.
Hope you understand.
Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out.
Don’t panic! This is a widespread mistake, especially for droppers who use DigiLocker, and in 99% of cases, it gets corrected easily without affecting your application.
Most portals (like NTA, state boards, or university portals) open a 2–7 day correction window after the last date.
If the correction window is closed. Write a crisp email to the admission portal.
You can also contact the respective college or university portal via call. All the contact details are mentioned on the admission portal.
The earlier you report, the higher the chance of correction.
All the best for your admission.
Best Regards,
