Hello,
No both exams are not at all correlated to each other as one uses for the students of obroad to get admission in india (DASA) and other uses for students of india to get admission in abroad (SAT).
DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) is a scheme of the HRD Ministry for admissions to premier institutes of India offering engineering/architecture/planning/management programmes at the UG (Undergraduate) and PG (Postgraduate) level. As part of the scheme, admissions are provided to Foreign Nationals/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India to programmes by the NITs(National Institutes of Technology), IIITs(Indian Institutes of Information Technology), SPAs(School of Planning and Architecture) and other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes.
S AT is an international standardized test required for admission into most of the colleges in the United States. It is also accepted in colleges in Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Canada . SAT is developed and published by the College Board . It is administered by Educational Testing Services worldwide on behalf of the College Board in over 25,000 test centers across 192 countries .
Hope this helps you!
All the best !
