Hello,

If you feel like a strong urge to take a drop then go for it. coz it requires a lot of dedication and focus and you're constantly under pressure. Else you can still join a good college with this ranking.

All the Best

Do not drop a year if you are not confident about staying focused. Join a college instead and concentrate on your studies. However, having figured out your weaknesses and mistakes, if you know that you can do better by preparing for another year, go for it. There are many instances where people dropped a year and then did really great in the next year.So if you are planning to take a drop be focused join a coaching class and study regularly. If you are ok with other fields other than engineering then go for it.
