I secured 71.5% in 12th board examination .i want to ask that after apearing jee mains if i got good rank in jee then am i eligible for nit

Hey Mukta,
The eligibility criteria for admission to IITs/NITs/GFTIs is :
The candidate must have passed 12th examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and have scored minimum 75% marks (65% marks for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination  or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
As you belongs to General category so it is not possible for you to get admission in NIT college.
