The college has many buildings and labs. Most classrooms have projectors. There is a reading room in the library. Hostel is okay with shared rooms. Food is healthy but not tasty every day. Wi-Fi works well in hostels but not in all classrooms.
Some teachers are very good and explain topics well. Others just read slides and move on. But if you ask doubts, they help. Exams come from what is taught. Study material is provided by most teachers. Syllabus is a bit heavy but manageable with regular study.
Most students from computer branches got placed. Nearly 80% of them got job offers. Highest package was 30 LPA, and the average was around 6 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, and Infosys came for hiring. Internships are available for final year.
Classrooms are simple and clean. Labs are available for all branches. Hostel is clean, but food is average. Library has books for every subject but some are old. Wi-Fi is not strong in all areas. Sports ground is small, but some games are organized.
Teachers are well-educated and explain lessons well. Some are strict, while others are easy to approach. They support students during lab and projects. Exams are average in difficulty. Notes are shared on time. Teachers give feedback after every test.
65% of students got placed last year. Highest salary was 25 LPA. Companies like Wipro, L&T, and Zoho recruited students. Students with good CGPA and extra skills got better jobs. Internships are given to final-year students based on their performance
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure that is needed by the students and everyone can use the facilities of the college. All kinds of labs are available in the college, wifi facilities are also available in the campus. Lirary is well maintained and have wifi access also. The canteen food is not that up to the mark but you always have good and cheaper options. The college is well maintained and clean. There is a pond inside the college which make it special in places like kolkata where campases and very small.
I am studying Btech electronics and computer science and it is a new brach but it is oppoutunity giving as in the 1st sem only i got the oppotunity to participate in the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon. And after getting motivated from that I also participated in many other hackathon and the department also supported me and gave me the oppotunity. The teachers are friendly and have relavent knowlage about their subject also.
In the past years the placement have increased in our college. All sort of companies have visited our campus and have conducted their drive. I got to know from the senier that they have got full support from the placement cell and from the department also regarding the placement. Recently some one from the CSE department got placed into Amazon with a very good package. The avarage salary offered in campus is nearly 4lakh.
I think my course is value for money as it is giving me many practical life experince from the industry and also the carriculum is also according to the industry standard.
The campus life is very good inside the college. There are regular events going on inside the campus, there are tech-fest,annaual fest and many more sports and other collaborative events going on inside the campus for us.
According to my experince I have enjoyed and liked my college. The regular college life and also the time of any events are like same. I have made many friends in this college and also learned many things. This college gave me the oppurtunity to travel to bangalore and compete in a national level hackathon that only in the 1st sem. My department is very good and supportive. They provide equal opportunity to everyone. Overall a good college.
Garbage. Broken equipment, no proper Wi-Fi, dirty facilities. Classrooms are cramped, projectors dont work, labs are outdated. and No ACs. The hostels aren't any better. Leaking ceilings, filthy bathrooms
The college is a complete mess, Teaching is pathetic. Most professors just read slides. Don't expect to actually learn anything unless you teach yourself. Management is arrogant and useless. Faculties are very less supportive. They only make you feel inferior all the time. They will deliberately force you to sign sheets so that you sit for NPTEL in 6th sem. Reason being if more students fail in 6th sem, less students will proceed to 4th year and thus less students will be eligible for placements thus increasing the placement ratio. Placement stat is a lie.
Overhyped lies. Total nature in college is antiplacement type. If tou dont want to make a career in engineering then join but if you are serious about your career, please dont join any college under JIS group. If you want to dance around all throughout your 4 years, then absolutely join. Upon that, they won't take your resemester if your internships dates overlap with semester dates, thus even if you manage to get one internship with your own efforts, the college will oppose you.
Over all shitty campus life.
College facilities and college infrastructure are very good. All students come and go to college as per the rules. We have a DS code in our college. The college administration is very good and very helpful.
Our department is called Electronics and Computer Science. Just as there is a lot of computer science here, there is also a lot of electronics. The best part is that our department is shifted any department or any sector.
Placement in our college is fairly good. Around 80 percent of students get placed in any company. Many companies like Accenture ,wipro ,TCS , Capgemini, microsoft, Tech Mahendra come to pick up our college .
This course cost us around 5 lakh 33 thousand 900 rupees...It is very value for money.
Our college is very beautiful. There is a field in front of the college. The biggest thing is that our college has a library where all the books from A to Z are available and anyone who sits there can read books. We have a big one cafeteria in our college.
The rooms in the college are quite good. The best thing is that every class room has a smartboard.
Our collage has very educated teachers and most of them are phd. They are very much co-oporative. We have huge labs and classrooms most of them have AC in it. our campus is wifi enabled campus with good wifi spped.
We have computer science and electronics both in our academics. we can apply for both IT sector and core sector for job. We have exam in every month and a semister exam in every six month. The level of the examination is moderate.
Our collage is visited by top companies every year with an average package of 4.5LPA and a highest package of 48LPA (MICROSOFT). we also has many opportunity for interships which is provided from the collage itself.
OUR collage is value for money and the course fees for four years is INR 533900
A AFFORDABLE COLLAGE FOR PERSUING YOUR DREAMS
The college infrastructure is well-maintained and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious with smart boards and labs are fully equipped for practical learning. The library too has a good collection of books and digital resources. The overall environment supports both academic and personal growth effectively.
Academics at my college are well-structured and focused on building strong fundamental. The syllabus is updated and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive too.
Placements at my college are quite good. Many reputed companies visit the campus, offering roles in core and IT sectors and the placement cell is quite active and supportive. There are internship sessions too.
The college offers good value for money. With a total course fee of around 5.5 lakhs, students get quality education, experienced faculty, strong placement support and good infrastructure. Its definitely a smart and balanced choice for students.
Campus life ant my college is vibrant and engaging. There are various student clubs, cultural events, technical fests and workshops that keep environment lively. Overall, its a perfect combination of academics, activities and fun, making college life memorable
Infrastructure plays a vital role in the efficiency and sustainability of any system, whether it's physical, technological, or educational. A well-maintained infrastructure enhances productivity, ensures safety, and supports future growth.
NIT Kolkata provides a solid academic environment with a well-structured curriculum and a focus on practical learning. The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, making complex subjects easier to understand. The college maintains a decent student-faculty ratio, ensuring that students receive adequate guidance.
The placement scenario at NIT Kolkata has shown steady growth over the years. Many students secure offers from reputed IT and core engineering companies, with some even landing high-paying packages. The average package is decent, though top-tier placements are mainly grabbed by students from CSE and ECE.
NIT Kolkata offers a reasonable return on investment (ROI) compared to many private engineering colleges. The tuition fees are affordable, especially for a government institute, making it an attractive choice for students looking for quality education without breaking the bank.
Campus life at NIT Kolkata is a mix of academics, fun, and the occasional struggle with Wi-Fi. The college offers a vibrant student culture with plenty of clubs, events, and activities to keep students engaged.
Very nice college the faculty us very nice and helpfull library facilities and other facility are very nice the class..are well equipped with fans and overall there is smart class availability as well
I am grateful for the opportunities provided by my college. The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities, like Wi-Fi and lab equipment, need improvement. The curriculum is helpful, though it could be more practical and industry-oriented. Extracurricular activities and events make learning enjoyable. Overall, my experience has been good, but there is room for improvement in placements and hands-on training.
The college provides placement opportunities, but there is room for improvement. More reputed companies should be invited, and better training should be provided to students for interviews and skill development. The placement percentage could be higher, and more support is needed for students who are not placed. Internships and real-world projects would help in better career preparation. Overall, the placement efforts are decent but can be improved.
The college provides good education and facilities, but some areas need improvement to justify the fees. The faculty is knowledgeable, and the campus environment is decent. However, placements, practical learning, and infrastructure like Wi-Fi and labs could be better. If these areas improve, the college will offer better value for money. Overall, it’s a satisfactory experience, but there is scope for enhancement. Let me know if you need any changes!
Campus life is enjoyable with a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities. There are various clubs, events, and festivals that make student life interesting. The environment is friendly, and the faculty is supportive. However, some facilities like Wi-Fi, hostels, and sports infrastructure could be improved. More interactive sessions and industry exposure would enhance the overall experience. Overall, campus life is decent but can be made even better. Let me know if you need any modifications!
Very good in iinfrastructural the equipment are new and the staffs are will trained and polite to every one laboratory have new and recent technologies and but not good in terms of ground they don't have big ground.
I took admission for placement but the quality of teaching is very good. But teacher are supportive and what they teach max Question comes from there reaching and principal is also helpful and problem solver.
It's having average placement. The average placement is less than 5LPA. Not every one gets placement because competition are very high and all the students not gets fair to complete a nepotism trends goes on
Not that much valued for money. The fees for 2024 batch is 7 lakhs. Which is not worth it.
Not a big campus.
Hii,
With reasonable tuition and reputable employers, Narula Institute of Technology is a good choice for BBA students. Although it costs more, NSHM Kolkata offers more specialized courses and opportunities to learn from foreign partners. Although Brainware University offers state-of-the-art facilities and excellent job placements, tuition is a little more expensive.
Choose Narula if you want a less expensive option with good employment prospects. Brainware or NSHM are also good for special courses or better placements. Before making a choice, visit the colleges and speak with students.

Hello student
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a publicly available, comprehensive list of prices for all dishes served in the cafeteria of Narula Institute of Technology Kolkata.
There are a few reasons for this:
Dynamic Pricing: Cafeteria prices can fluctuate due to various factors like raw material costs, seasonal changes, and special offers.
Limited Online Presence: While many businesses have online menus with prices, educational institutions often don't prioritize this information online.
Internal Information: Such details are usually accessible to students and staff through internal notices or the cafeteria management.
What You Can Do
Contact the Institute Directly:
Reach out to the institute's administration or cafeteria management for the most accurate and up-to-date price list.
Visit the Cafeteria:
The simplest way to know the prices is to visit the cafeteria and check the menu displayed there.
Ask Fellow Students:
Students who frequent the cafeteria can provide you with a general idea of the price range for different items.
I hope this helps!
