Great building plans, classrooms are neat and good and labs are well equipped with equipments. There are 3 buildings almost nearby which help us to find all faculty members within reach and we'll availability.
Each and every teachers focus on this matter extremely. No labs are allowed before theory and I must say it is very strict in this matter they even call our guardians if we failed to score 20+ in midsems.
There were almost 200+ jobs. A lot of companies do come and mass recruiters take a lot as their name suggest but other companies like Google oracle do come and take some students depending on their skills of course.
For 85k we get a lot of facilities like free matlab ,LinkedIn learning, courses and what not.
Good.
Really worth it.

Fine and good ...
Fine and good
Fine and good
Not a great infrastructure....wifi not available everywhere and if availed do not have good Connectivity and the classrooms are small and slightly clostophoebic. Labs are not updated with the latest technology most of the times and if done, most teachers cannot help with its operation.
Quality of teaching varies....some faculty good and some terrible. Whatever field you choose to study, everyone is after only one thing i.e. AI and ML. But they do make you job ready in every terms by preparing you from First Year itself with excess pressure than required strangling you.
If one is happy with mass recruiting MNCs with a avg low salary, then he/she is good to go. One or two do get a high salary like 50LPA but that is definitely not from on campus placement. And avg salary from on-campus placements is something about 4-5 LPA.
Cost is terribly high for what they offer. Value for money - absolutely not.
I just have no comments on this.
Classrooms are equipped with basic amenities. The building consists of laboratories that are well equipped maintained as my stream is concerned. The students get benefit from the college library .But it provides certain limitations in terms of campus size.
The institute follows an updated and structured curriculum as my stream is concerned any strongly focusses on education .The Faculty members are quite helpful .Quality of teaching is more or less good. Developing new skill and implementing in projects is highly encouraged.
The placement in this college is better than any other private engineering college in West Bengal. The average package offered by the companies is good. TCS, Wipro, Accenture are some of the mass recruiters.
Yes, our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our classrooms and labs are well maintained. Yes, our living spaces and the foods are hygienic. Smart Boards and Wi-Fi facilities are equipped in each and every department of our college
I am currently studying Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Since childhood I have an interest in various types of electronic gadgets which always makes me wonder how these things work. Yes, my course curriculum is completely updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. I think by gaining the complete knowledge and having a strong concept of my subject makes me job ready.
The quality of placements at my college is pretty stable. Around 90% of students from our college are placed after Bachelors and the rest either go for entrepreneurship or for higher studies. According to the placement reports one student was offered 72 Lakhs Per Annum which was the highest package received. Average Salary Offered is from 6 Lakhs Per Annum to 10 Lakhs Per Annum. Our college is very supportive when it comes to placements
Our course fee is 7,05,000 Yes, I am getting my money worth.
Best Features- Good Lab Facilities Worst Features- 1) When it comes to midterms, our college conducts the exam by taking 2 different subjects on the same day which becomes quite difficult to study and memorize the subjects. Therefore, this creates a disturbance in understanding the subjects which becomes really stressful for the students. 2) Our college does not provide any sufficient gaps (in terms of days) which becomes quite problematic for the students. 3) The same goes for our Final Semester Examinations.
College has all the necessary euipments and facilities for the students but there is no proper campus life for the students rather it consists only of 3 to 4 buildings.there is no proper playground also for the students.
The quality of the teaching is less than average . The curriculum is updated and consist of all the recent developments in the field. The semester time is also very short for the students to prepare for the huge syllabus.
The quality of the placements is good. Average to high packages have been provided to the students those who work hard and diligently. The process of the placement is as usual easy and pleasant and the placement cell also helps the students.
The college provide great campus with nice facilities and infrastructures . Facilities mainly enough classrooms, library and most importantly full wifi campuses for all students. Proper hygiene is also important
Full focus on study and skill development for future is given here by our renowned faculties who are well talented and knowledgeable. Teachers are helpful towards the students in their need in all possible fields they can help
Average to high salary packages are tend to be provided to all students every year through a placement process. Placement process complies of various elimination rounds and only deserving students go till the last
This college is great college indeed with all proper infrastructure and equipment. Proper library and laboratory for engineering students are provided. Proper cleanliness is also well maintained here much.
Teachers focus a lot in brighter future of all students studying here. Academic is well looked after. Extra curriculum activities are also supported and teachers make up proper field ready for work and progress
Average to high salary packages are provided to average number of students studying here. Placement process is well organised and placement department helps us a lot. Every year many students are placed from here.
My college has a well built infrastructure often well maintained. Our building has all the required labs provided they are nicely moderated as per student terms but they lack in a well maintained canteen which needs some serious attention and is way behind in providing sports facilities to students due to lack of space.
Quality of teaching is more or less average. Curriculum - Regularly updated based on the most recent and relevant syllabi. Throw of Speech- Poor to average throw of speech as the teachers are more often late to the class and with stipulated time period and short semester time their teaching just doesn't fit the cup.
As per placements our college stands out as the best in the city in private category with an average package racing for 4.8LPA. Placement Percentage - 100% B.Tech Category Highest Package - 72LP Placement process - Taken care by the Institute Placement Cell UEM, Kolkata
Course Fee - ₹95000/Sem This rounds to about ₹760000 which with miscellaneous costs rounds to over 8Lakh This I guess is worth the payment we make.
Dear Ritham
Based on your information it seems challenging to secure admission to IEM Salt Lake with a JEE Main rank of 48177 in the OBC-NCL category for CSE or CSE specialization. Cutoffs for top institutions can be quite competitive, and it's important to check the specific cutoff ranks for the desired course and category.
Would you like help exploring other options or institutions that might be a good fit for your rank using College predictor
Thanks.

Hello,
To get a clearer picture, let us consider both the cases :
Joining NSEC Now:
Waiting for Other Rounds:
Now based on your situation, my recommendations are :-
Based on your research and personal preferences, make an informed decision. If you are confident about getting a seat in one of your higher preference colleges in the next rounds, it might be worth waiting. Otherwise, securing a seat in CSE at NSEC could be a prudent choice.
Best of luck!
