Hi, first of all I want you to know that most of the colleges except government i.e. public/govt. and private colleges have different exam quotas throgh which they allow any individual to take admission in the institution. Every private college especially sometimes have more than 2 to 3 admission quotas which used to get filled on behalf of certain exams. Likewise HBTU, Kanpur also have some percentage of seats which is filled through JEE Mains and some are filled through UPSEE.

By the way HBTU, Kanpur is a state college as it's maximum seats gets filled on behalf of UPSEE.

It sure do have caste category quota so you can apply your caste certificate while proceeding with admission process.
