I want to ask that if a student who comes under obc but toppes the neet exam... does he/she will be considered under obc only or he/she is going to get admission under open category as he/she has scored heightest marks among all the student... please answer

Hello Aspirant,

It does not matter whatever marks you have scored because if you belongs to General category then also you will be considered as topper if you have scored highest marks and if you belongs to any of the reserved category like OBC in your case, so you would be considered as overall topper as well as topper in your OBC community as well. And if you belongs to OBC category then you will definitely be allotted seats of OBC quota only not that of open quota.

Dear Student,

If you have the valid certificate of OBC then definitely you will considered as a OBC candidate not a general candidate, no matter how much marks you got in any exam, still you will be considered as OBC candidate.

You need to create the OBC certificate after the April month of the same year in which you are going to take admission then only you will be eligible for the OBC category.
