Hello aspirant,

Yes in order to become a geologist you have to take science stream after class 10th. To take up an undergraduate course in Geology, you need to have passed the higher secondary examination in the science stream with any or all of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics .

To become a geologist you usually have to complete a degree in science or applied science with a major in geology, geoscience, applied geology, geophysics or earth sciences . To get into these courses you usually need to gain your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education.
