Yes of course. For calculation of best four percentage you need to include 1 language (english) and three elective subjects that you've to choose from the list prescribed by the University. It's mandatory to include the subject as general elective that you choose to pursue.
If you're going for economics hons then it's compulsory to include economics as a general elective subject in your best of four marks otherwise you'll face a deduction of 2.5%. Also, mathematics is compulsory if you want to pursue economics hons in Delhi University.
