You can apply through state-level entrance exams like JEECUP (Uttar Pradesh), DTE Maharashtra, or direct admission based on 10th marks. Visit the official website of your state’s polytechnic board for updates.

Hi,

For polytechnic admission in Mechanical Engineering, you’ll need to apply for the Diploma in Engineering course offered by various state technical education boards. Most states conduct entrance exams like Delhi CET, JEECUP (Uttar Pradesh), MH-CET for Polytechnic (Maharashtra), etc., but some states allow direct admission based on 10th marks. You should apply through the official website of your state's Directorate of Technical Education. Also, government polytechnic colleges usually have lower fees and good infrastructure, so try to get into one of them. Once you complete the diploma, you can also go for lateral entry into B.Tech in the future!

Thank you!
