i want to write jee in 2022 as a repeater so do i need to score 75 precent in 2nd pu
Hi
Actually, there is no percentage barrier of 75 % to be eligible for JEE Mains or any other percentage so you will be eligible for jee main 2022 provided you should have at least passed 12th/2nd puc.
For reference,
Eligibility criteria says that:-
-) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains for BE or Btech you need 10+2/equivalent qualification with Physics, mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
-) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible for JEE mains 2022 one should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020
-) There is no age limit to be eligible
-) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Mains, you just need to have passed your 12th
But yes,
To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For this year only i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% /65 % has been lifted off due to the pandemic.
But next year i. e jee main 2022 and onwards this criteria will be there for NITs etc ( if removed due to adverse conditions like pandemic nta will notify about it). So, to be eligible for NIT ,IIITs etc in 2022 , your score in 12th must be 75% / 65% depending upon your category.
