Along with 90 percentile... It's tough to get any NIT college. You can apply to your state technical institutes, their must be very good chance to get your favourable branch.
I'm also a b.tech student... so if want CS branch in btech course. This is very good to get admission at best technical institute of your state and in case you don't get your favourable branch then apply for branch change in 2nd semester. If you score above 8.5 cgpa in 1st sem then their is 99% chance of your branch change.
