You need to contact VIT officuals in advance stating your absence and reason with written letter.
Secondly, you might be allowed to take subsequent date dor which you need to be present at the timings alloted by them with all proper documentation and Demand draft.
Also, whichever branch is available you shall have to take it regardless of your rank.
Request you to abide all rukes and protocol.
