Hello,

Space research is scientific study carried out in outer space, and by studying outer space.

To become a space scientist, you should possess relevant education in pure science or engineering disciplines.

For example: ISRO recruit candidates with PhD in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics along with engineers in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science.

  • For  space research you can opt for Engineering with aerspace or aeronautics and later can go head for masters in Aestrophysics and space science. Remember there are limited seat for the above masters couse and exams are very tough.
  • Earning a master's or doctoral degree in physics, astronomy or astrophysics could prepare you for work as a space scientist is also an option.

Hope this helps!!!
