Hello aspirant,

As a student currently pursuing engineering in Electronics and Communication, I can assure you that the syllabus is almost entirely dependent on physics and its principles. Maths is of course an essential part in ECE, but we have some direct applications of plus two and plus one physics in core subjects. For example, Network Theory is a subject where we study about circuits entirely and it is the advanced version of current and electricity from plus two physics.

Maths is a core subject for every engineering branch. But, physics is very much important in ECE and is one of the toughest branches in engineering. If you have the confidence that you can pick up the syllabus and increase your understanding in physics, you can surely join ECE. If not, it is better to take branches like CSE  or IT.

Never loose confidence and work hard. Nothing is impossible.

Hope this was helpful
