if a student has completed 10+2 in india and is holding american passport,still SAT and EILTS is required

Dear Rupal,

Holding an American passport can land you in one of its cities.

But to pursue higher education you have to take qualifying exams like TOEFL, SAT, IELTS,.. if you don't have American ( U.S. ) Citizenship.

It is that based on those qualifying examinations most of the universities and colleges in the United States admit students from foreign countries into their institutions.

And these standardized exam test scores of your's will be primarily used by the universities as a part of the admission process.

Hence It would be better and you will have high chances to get admit in one of the good colleges in the U.S. if you have better score in any one of the standardized qualifying exams.
