Dear Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. Now about your question. To get into any semi or government based college for B.A.M.S various reservations are available.

I assume you know that admission to various medical courses are done, based on the merit you obtained through entrance exam called Neet.

Now based of your reservations category you are expected to get a rank between the given range.

  • For General Category: 490+ to 350+
  • For OBC Category: 490+ to 330+
  • For SC Category: 350+ to 280+
  • For ST Category: 220+ to 340+
  • For UR-PH Category: 450+ to 320+
  • For OBC/SC/ST Category: 280+ to 320+

  1. Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000
  2. Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 4050000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

This can vary from college to college.

Lastly I would like to say dont try to aim for minimum Mark's, aim for the maximum amount of Mark's you can obtain hope this helps all the best!!
