Hey aspirant,

Yes, you can directly apply for UPSEE counselling round-2 even if you  have not participated for round -1.

Three types of candidates participate in the second round of counselling :-

1) Candidates who did not participate in round -1

2) Candidates who chose FLOAT option in the first round.

3) Candidates who were not alloted any seat in the first round.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So , to answer your question , you can definitely appear for the second round of counseling without getting enrolled in the first round. Each round of counseling is separate and completely independent of other rounds and similarly the registrations for them are separate too. So even if you fail to register for the first round for any reason , you can definitely get enrolled in the second round. Just make sure that there are enough seats still available for your desired colleges  .

Hope this helps you. Good luck !!
