if I am unable to get eligible for computer science at bits pillani and I select mechanical engineering at bits .so after one semester gets completed,can i change my branch?

Hi Vatsal,
Occurrence of branch transfer is extremely rare to happen. For it to happen your score should be really high (university topper) then there is some probability to consider your transfer given that there is vacancy in the desired branch.
Since computer science is in trend, all the seats get allocated during admission only.
There is no gain for you if you take admission in the branch in which you are not interested. I would rather suggest you to look for seat in computer science in other colleges.
