If you have been allotted a college in Round 2 of AIQ, then the Round 1 seat automatically gets cancelled as per the rules. You cannot retain your Round 1 seat once you get upgraded or allotted in Round 2. If you don’t want the Round 2 seat, you will lose both R1 and R2 seats.

Hello Aspirant,

If you are offered a seat in Round 2 of AIQ and you had already reported/joined a college in Round 1, as soon you pay the fee to accept the Round 2 allotment, your Round 1 seat is automatically cancelled. There is also no way to keep Round 1 seat once you are allotted in Round 2. If you do not wish to take up the Round 2 college you will have to not report/join there, otherwise you will lose out on both Round 1 and Round 2 seats.
