Dear student,

If you have participated in josaa counselling and if you got allotted any seat in round 1 counselling then it completely depend on you that whether you want to freeze, float or slide your seat.

Now suppose that if you freeze your seat then it  means - you have accepted the seat and then you will have to provide the documents within the given stipulated time or you can say within a certain deadline. Now if you fail to produce the documents within the given time then your candidature will be cancelled and you will not be eligible to attend further josaa counselling rounds.

But if you select float or slide option then that means you want to get a higher preference branch and you will keep your allotted seat with you and in this case you will not have to produce the documents for previous seat allotment. Because now you have selected float or slide and if you get a higher precedence branch in further josaa round then you will accept it and then you have to produce the documents, but failure to produce any documents at that time also will make you non eligible and you can not participate in any further josaa counselling round.
