Hello,
Students get only two attempts to sit for the JEE Advanced and three for JEE Mains. However, those who exhausted their attempts this year have been requesting the IITs to give them another chance next year. However, those in their final year or second attempt who could not take the exam this year will be given a relaxation.
After being accepted into an NIT/IIIT, you can take the JEE Advanced exam. Make sure you passed your 12th grade test according to the JEE advanced eligibility requirements. Also, look into the age requirements for taking the JEE Advanced test.
Hope this helps.
