Sorry to say this, i am also one of the people who wanted to be a marine engineer. at every time when i wanted to know a 1  line detail also is not possible in the internet. there is no such good book in the internet. so,i recommend you to go through the previoud year question papers thoroughly and watch the youtube videos to clear your doubts.

For IMUCET you don't need to purchase any extra book.Its only waste of money if your concepts are clear is sufficient, simply try to cover the topics from NCERT textbook it's sufficient to score good rank in exam.
Moreover try to solve previous year paper it will help you to analyze the exam pattern and level of question asked.
