Hi.

I hope you are referring to Centre for Development of Advanced Computing.

Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG Diploma Courses of C- DAC

  • Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.

OR

  • M.Sc / M.S (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics with Mathematics in 10+2.

Since the base criteria does not mention mechanical engineering then most probably you will not be allowed to take an admission.

If you have a further specific query, please feel free to comment.

Good Luck

Hi Aspirant,

No you can't apply for C-dac but you should have the graduation degree in Engineering because you are not eligible to apply.4 year of BSc Engineering can also apply for the c dac  but the field has to be from IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.

Hope it helps!!
