CSE is most famous course and you will get good placements in it. Core branches like civil, mech, chemical, electrical / electronics are equally interesting if you don't want to do coding. All other domains are specific and you need to study a little bit about them to check whether you have interest in them.

There is nothing like a better branch all of this depends on your interest. You should choose a branch depending on your interest.
In terms of placements CSE is the best but depending on the economy the demand rise and fall.

Best of luck!

If it is the branch of your interest then definitely it will be best for you.
With rise of fields like IoT demand for ECE engineers will also increase.
