In my income certificate, income is 1.6 lakh.I belongs to bc-d caste.Will i get free seat in dost? my senior said that we can get free seat only when the income is below 1lakh,is it true?

Dear aspirant,

Having a BC-D certificate with a family income of 1.6 lakh will not automatically qualify you for a free seat in DOST. Though the BC-D caste provides reservation benefits, the fee waiver eligibility in DOST, like in many other institutions, is often tied to a specific income limit, which is typically below 1 lakh. So a family income below 1 lakh is often a requirement for full fee waiver or concession.
