In my NEET (UG) 2021 application, at the correction stage, I made an inadvertent error in the column relating to the Qualifying Exam Code. Instead of entering 02, I entered 03. What can I do now? Will NTA accpet my application? Will I face difficulty at the time of counselling? Pl. advise. Roshan

Hello

Actually,  now you cannot use Correction window any more to correct your code because you have already used it once and  correction window is a single time facility

But don't worry,

It won't affect your eligibility or anything or wrong code cannot be the reason for application form rejection.

This is because,

Your code has nothing to do with your eligibility. What all matters is your class 12th qualification i. e to be eligible you must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category.

The qualification code during form filling is just to know your current status:-

--------)whether you are 12th appearing

--------) already passed

--------) type of board i. e 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination or intermediate / pre- degree examination

--------) if you are doing any course is it bsc with PCB or any other

--------) or after 12th you have even passed your bsc.

--------) have studied from a foreign board.

So, no need to stress yourself thinking about it and  now that,
limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash for you, the link for the same is given below :-
