    Admission to NITs are offered on the basis of your JEE main rank and Not on the basis of class 12th Marks. EARLIER Class 12th carries 40%weightage but in recent years the changes has been made and not any weightage shall be given to class 12th marks.

    Therefore admission will be offered on the basis of JEE main rank.
