Is 195 a competitive cutoff for other state students to get into govt colleges through TNEA??

Hello Shaysure,

competition depends because there are few criteria based on which you may belong to any of two quotas for admission.

there are two quotas for other students,

  • general quota
  • other state quotas

General quota:

though you are other state-student if your native is Tamil Nadu or your parents work in central or state govt. job in Tamilnadu then you can get admission to any of the colleges in there will be less competition for admission when compared to another quota.

Other state quotas:

only 50 seats are allocated for students from other state and did their education in a state other than Tamilnadu. then heavy competition will be for getting admission in govt. universities.
