Hello aspirant

Please note that the cut off varies every year depending on various factors such as category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges etc.

If we look at the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the general category scored 572 marks, from the state quota of West Bengal. The college allotted was Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Coochbehar.

So, yes 570+ is a safe score to get a government medical seat in West Bengal for your category.

You can also use the college predictor tool to know your chances of admission in a college/course-

Hope it helps!

Dear aspirant hope you are doing well. It's difficult to predict because cut keep changing every year depends on various factors.

1. No of seat available.

2. Difficulty level of exam.

3. No of student appear in exam.

According to pervious years (2021) cut off  to get admission in mbbs college  in West Bengal. The lowest score is 553 in Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur in general quota seats. So 570+ is considered as safe score.. But every year cut changes , so you must try to get 580+ for safe side. You can check out the previous years cut off of west Bengal link is given below.
