Dear student,
As long as something excites and you and you can see yourself doing it for the rest of your life,it cannot be a bad choice.The scope is also increasing.Talking about the salary average salary is around 4LPA and it will increase with experience.
After a few years of experience one can earn as much as 60-70k per month.
