YES. You have to do the registration for admission quite early itself. Every exam will have their own deadline for application fillup.

Engineering Colleges across the country (and in Punjab) offer admission based on:

• Merit of Student in JEE Main Exam
• For IITs, Merit in JEE Advanced
• Merit in State Level Entrance Exam (Not applicable for Punjab)
• Direct Admission for Students with high grades in Class 12
• Admission through University Entrance Exam (Eg: LPUNEST for Lovely Professional University)
• Management Quota - admission by paying extra amount as donation.
