It was established in 1955. Director of IERT is Dr. Val Mishra. Location is Prayshraj, Uttar Pradesh, India

Campus - Urban 26.5 acre.

It offers various courses like Diploma , B tech in engineering, polytechnic.  In B tech it offers seven streams.. The institute aims to work with interaction with the industry and has a mission to serve the society
