The world lives on hope. But, this hope should not act otherwise. It is good to dream to take admissions in certain colleges but not to waste your time. If you really want to join the respective college and waiting for vacancy, then take admissions in some other course ( your second choice ) and continue with it. If you get a chance to get admission in your dream College go for it then. But, don't sit and waste your year. You can also join certain skill or certificate courses and continue by the time you get admission. But,  I would suggest, don't waste your time waiting. Hope you understand.

It depends on which type of college you expected. If you try  IIT or nit or any medical college or any good college then you should definitely wait and hopefully you get some good college.
