It is not compulsory to attend both the JEE Mains tests. You can attempt either of the JEE MAINS tests held twice in a year or you can sit for both. However, in the latter case, the better of the two scores will be considered.
No it is not necessary to attempt both ( January and April ).
It is just a relaxation provide to you so that if your first attempt do not go well ; you have not to wait for next year .
Best of the two will be considered for the final ranking.
Hope you get it.
Good luck
Hi Goutham,
See it is a personal choice to be honest, it is more like if you have a chance at an exam twice in a same year, you can improve your score in the exam. The best out of the two is taken into consideration for the final ranks. It is totally upon you, if you feel confident you can just give one or give both of them first like a warm up. I would recommend you to give both as you get to know the feel of the examination.
Good Luck !!
National Testing Agency is going to conduct JEE Main twice a year for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch Courses.
Its a candidate call whether they want to attempt either one of them or both of them. The best thing is to attempt both exams because if a candidate does not score well in one exam then he can do good in the second attempt.
