Hello dear,

No it is not compulsory to get 75% in 12th to appear in the JEE mains examination, however it is compulsory to have 75% in 12th to get admission in IIT/NIT/CFTI . If you have less than 75% in 12th you can get admissions in best colleges on the basis of your JEE mains score.

Hello dear student !

JEE is for the admission in different government as well as private engineering colleges. If you want to take admission in IITs or NITs or Gratis , then you need to score 75% in your 12th board exams or either you should be in the top 20 percentile. But if you can take admission in private engineering colleges , then you can appear in JEE without securing 75% marks in 12th boards.

Hope this will help you
