Hello,

It is not necessary to gain work experience to pursue an MBA after graduation. If you want to do a job after graduation you can do it for your interest but it is not necessary to do the job for an MBA. Job experience becomes necessary when you are targeting or want to pursue an MBA from selective business schools i.e. IIM Bangalore (Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore). In IIM Bangalore there is a special weightage for candidates who have Job experience. If the candidate has some experience then IIM Bangalore provides some extra points to Him/Her at the time of total Percentile counting. But job experience is not necessary for all Business Schools.
