Is it necessary to have a bachelor's degree in law only . can a student of bcom can apply for llm?

Hello!

The answer is no , you cannot do LLM after just b.com course. You need an undergraduate law degree to go llm. Llm is a professional law degree that is masters in law degree so it requires llb graduate to pursue it further. If you really have an interest in law then you should opt for UG llb course.

Hello,

Yes. It is mandatory to have a Bachelor's degree in law only to pursue LLM courses. One can pursue LLM after completing his / her Bachelor of Law ( LLB ) or equivalent course.

A student who is pursuing B.Com or completed it cannot pursue LLM directly. The student needs to complete the Bachelor's of Law degree first after B.Com  and then he / she will be eligible for LLM program.
