is it necessary to stay in hostel while studying in Jadavpur University???? can i stay in mess and study in the university??? or it is mandatory to stay in hostel ?????

It is not necessary to stay in Jadavpur University, Kolkata Hostel you can stay anywhere outside the Campus or at your home if your home is near by or in any other hostel other than College hostel.

How can you stay in mess ? Mess is place where students can sit and have food. For accommodation purpose hostel rooms need to be occupied.
