Is it possible to get admission without MET scorecard? Having distinction in 12th standard final exam and in maths, physics and chemistry.
Hello,
Admission without a MET (Manipal Entrance Test) scorecard may be possible, but it depends on the course and the admission category at Manipal University.
Manipal does offer direct admission to certain programs based on Class 12th marks, especially for non-engineering courses (e.g., BBA, B.Com, BA, etc.).
Check if the specific course you're applying for is available for the direct admission based on 12th grade marks on Manipal’s official admissions website.

Thank you!!
Hii,
If you're targeting colleges associated with Manipal University, then MET score is mandatory for merit seats. Most will not accept 12th marks in lieu of MET. However, some private colleges or management quota seats under the same do open seats based purely on 12th PCM percentage, but the fees are typically higher. MET score might still be required at document stage. So while it's not impossible, it’s a backup option. I'd recommend calling the admissions office of desired colleges and confirming whether your distinction in PCM would help bypass MET eligibility for certain categories or quotas.
Thank you for reaching out!
