No professor Dipankar Gupta was a Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was deployed in the the centre for the study of social systems. Besides this he is a regular columnist of the Hindu, Times of India, The Indian express and Anandabazar Patrika in Bengali. He also serves on the board of Institutions of reserve Bank of India and national bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
