Well,Ramanujan College is a decent choice for pursuing English Honours. The faculty is good. The infrastructure is good. The ambience is apt for you to grow and evolve. The college has it's own placement cell that is quite active. You can get placements through that as well.
Having said,for English Honours,Sri Venkateshwara College,Lady Shriram College,Hansraj College,Hindu College are the best. However,if you are not getting these colleges,then you should definitely go for Ramanujan College.

Yes it is.Ramanujan College is affiliated with University of Delhi hence the degree that you will hold after 3 years will be the same yet I'd prefer Ramanujan College since it is graded A by NAAC. It's infrastructure is new and so much better than other colleges affiliated with University of Delhi, It has a better location too that is CR park and places like Greater Kailash, Nehru Place, Kalkaji are really close and are considered to be great hangout spots. There are three different metro station near it making it easy to travel from any corner of Delhi. Plus, their faculty for English Literature is excellent. Go for it, no need to change.
