Hello

Taking a drop for a year is not that easy. You need to completely dedicate yourself in preparation for this All India level entrance exam to score maximum possible so as to get a government medical /dental college the next year. And this requires big and hard efforts + maximummm practice + your determination to make the drop worth taking. If you're determined enough to  choose medicine as your career, and ready to work more hard and give your Bestttt possible, then just go for it.!
Atleast you must have prepared a little for the entrance this year, and so all you need to do is  prepare more, clear the concepts in a better way, keep the basics clear and practice maximum questions. Ready to do this-- then take a drop for a year and make it worth by working hard + smart, and getting good results.!

The thing is I am scared of repeating that people would come to blame if I won't be able to crack it

Dear, if you'll keep this thing in your head all the time and bother what people will say, then you're never going to achieve anything in your life. And because of the society you want to spoil your career !?? Well, no one would do that especially the young generation. I can understand that this thought of yours is obvious to rise when one thinks of dropping for a year to prepare-reappear for the entrance the next year. But it's only and only you who has to make it possible for yourself.!
Just one year- a strong determination- proper working- studying in a smart way- practicing maximum and last is especially 'no connection with the outer world', I know this will be hard but it'll be worth.!!!!
Not everyone gets success at first. You have to prove to yourself that you can do the Bestttt and perform greattt. You don't have to prove to the world.! And once you get success then those same people will come to appreciate you.. So think that way and Be Consistent.!
